[06 February 2007] Time truly flies...
Things have been happening so fast, one after the other, that I haven't had time to reflect and react on these things.

on Special Studies: One of the days I've been dreading since I became a senior is finally over. Thesis defense. I don't think we did bad. That's enough for me. Then, our adviser tells us that we got high marks for our manuscipts. And our thesis may even be good enough for publishing. There is nothing more I can ask for.

on PGH Lab Duty: Blood bank rocks. I've never done so many blood extraction in one day, I already lost count of the total number of venipunctures I did (attempts and successes) in my whole life. I only had 1 miss out of 20++ that I did that day, and even Sir Rex couldn't do it since the vein was too deep. Then, I finally had the guts to probe (I had no choice). And I also got to stick Gauge 16 needles on patients who were donating blood. Waaah, what an experience.

on UP Med: I'm one step closer to Dream #1 (Become a doctor). I got qualified for interview. People are asking me why I don't seem to be happy. Really now... it just doesn't show. I can't express how happy I am, but it's too early to rejoice since this is still the interview. And I'm bad at interviews. And this is a 'Make or Break' thing. Only 120 out of 210 candidates will get selected. What are the chances that I'd actually get in??? I do hope I get interviewed for St. Luke's Med soon as well, so I'd know what to expect of med school interviews. Wish me luck.

on Current Crush: I realized that you are definitely uninterested and that you are beyond my reach. Thus, I will no longer try anything to catch your attention or do something that I'm not used to doing just to give you hints that I like you. Alas... my efforts were futile. You shall remain as a mere acquaintance... and eye candy.
