[14 June 2005] 19... at least TEEN pa rin!
I went to mass this morning to thank the Lord for this day, for today, some people I know were born, KC, Banzie, Dane, Nadine, and were given another year. Uy! Kasama pala ako dun, hehehehe. And you know, my tennis player friend, Steffie Graff...

For some unknown reason, I cried for about 3 minutes sometime during the mass. And I don't think it's because I'm getting older. 16 lang ako ah, hehehe... mukhang 16... at pagbigyan niyo na ako coz today is my day... at libre namang mangarap noh, hehehe.

Special thanks to YOU (you know who you are!) for:
  • greeting me 2 days before my birthday because you set the alarm on the wrong date, and feeling sorry for it (pero ok lang, it's the thought that counts, diba?)

  • greeting me a day before, early in the evening, just in case you fall asleep... and turning out that you stayed up til 12 am to be able to greet me on the first minute of June 14

  • announcing my birthday on Friendster and asking people not to forget to greet me

  • greeting me at my "exact" birth time, even though it was your phone's time and the time you know is a minute late

  • asking your friends (whom I don't know) to greet me as well, just so I'd receive many greetings

  • welcoming me in class (I was late... what's new? hehehe) with bright faces and mouthing a 'Happy Birthday!', being the first two people to greet me in school

  • making an international call to greet me, unfortunately, we did not hear each other so well, but I heard it anyway

  • allowing me not to attend a meeting so my family and I can celebrate my birthday

  • giving me a Red Ribbon cake with candles for me to blow

  • wanting to greet me personally with a gift and a sloppy kiss, then greeting me a 'Happy Birthday!' in different languages

and how can I forget...

  • giving me another year... Thank you, Kuya!

And of course, thank you to all the other people who wished me a happy birthday. It means a lot to me. I do like being remembered, even though it means getting reminded for so many times how old your getting.

Happy Happy Birthday to my co-celebrators!!!

I am still accepting greetings til 9:01 am tomorrow. Hehehehe.
