[01 January 2006] And 2005 ends with a BLA...H

Of all the days that I would have to put on my mask, why does it have to be the last day of the year? I started the day so happy... but eventually got disappointed... and more disappointed... until the new year finally came, and still... nothing. I forced myself to celebrate with the others. Smiling, even when it sucks to end the year with sadness filling your heart.

Jerk.

I enjoyed watching the fireworks display that our neighbors were setting off, but after a while, I turned into a Scrooge. I suddenly could not bring myself to enjoy the fireworks anymore. I got irritated at the noise and air pollution it's producing. Goodbye, Ozone layer. And who would want to have debris falling on their heads?!? Certainly, not I.

Wow. What an effect you have on some people...
